The snow laden pines look so lovely
And the crisp, fresh air livens up my senses
Tiny squalls of white swirl about
Landing as uniquely beautiful flakes
The grass, not long ago green
Now eloquently painted
In a fresh blanket of white
Pictureesque and pleasing to the eye
Children delighting in the season
Freshly fallen powder to play with
Innocent laughter echoing
Because of the first snow
